SHIPPING POLICY - ADTRACTOR L.T.D.

ADTRACTORLTD ships machinery and equipment within the United Kingdom and to selected international destinations, subject to product availability, shipping access, transport regulations, and destination-country requirements.

1. SHIPPING DESTINATIONS

We currently provide delivery within the United Kingdom and to selected international destinations across Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas.

Shipping availability may depend on the machinery type, destination, transport access, carrier availability, import regulations, and local delivery conditions. If shipping is unavailable for a specific destination, customers will be informed before order confirmation or payment processing.

2. SHIPPING CHARGES

Shipping charges are calculated based on the machinery type, size, destination, transport method, and delivery requirements.

Additional shipping costs may apply for:

  • Oversized or heavy equipment
  • Remote or restricted-access locations
  • Special loading or unloading requirements
  • Port storage or route changes
  • Specialized freight handling arrangements

Any applicable shipping costs will be communicated and confirmed before the order is finalized. We aim to maintain clear and transparent pricing throughout the shipping process.

3. PROCESSING TIME

Orders are generally processed after payment confirmation and receipt of any required shipping or order documentation.

Processing times may vary depending on machinery type, inspection requirements, export procedures, shipping arrangements, and destination regulations.

4. SHIPPING METHOD

Depending on the machinery type, size, and destination, available shipping methods may include:

  • Container shipping
  • Ro-Ro (Roll-on/Roll-off) transport
  • Flat rack or break bulk shipping
  • Road transport for selected destinations

The appropriate shipping method for each order will be confirmed before dispatch.

5. ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMES

Estimated delivery times begin once the order has been dispatched.

Typical delivery timeframes may include:

  • UK mainland: 5–10 business days
  • Europe: 5–15 business days
  • International sea freight: 10–30 days

Delivery times may vary depending on the destination, shipping method, customs procedures, carrier schedules, and local regulations. Delivery estimates are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed.

Delays may occur due to customs inspections, weather conditions, transport disruptions, port congestion, public holidays, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If a significant delay occurs, we will contact you using the details provided with your order.

6. TRACKING UPDATES

Where available, shipment tracking details and delivery updates may be provided after dispatch. For freight and international shipments, updates may be shared through email communication, shipping references, carrier information, or transport documentation.

7. CUSTOMS, DUTIES, TAXES, & IMPORT REQUIREMENTS

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing:

  • product prices and shipping charges do not include destination-country import duties, customs charges, VAT/GST, port charges, storage fees, brokerage fees, or local delivery fees outside the UK
  • the customer is responsible for all destination-country import requirements, taxes, duties, clearance fees, and compliance obligations

Customers are responsible for checking that the goods can be lawfully imported into the destination country before ordering.

8. DELIVERY ADDRES & ACCESS

Customers must provide an accurate delivery address, contact name, telephone number, and any site-access information required for safe delivery.

If delivery cannot be completed because of:

  • incorrect address details
  • lack of unloading access
  • customer absence
  • refusal to accept delivery
  • failure to complete customs clearance

additional storage, redelivery, port, carrier, or handling charges may apply.

9. INSPECTION ON DELIVERY

Customers should inspect the goods on delivery and notify us within 48 hours of any transit damage, missing items, or delivery discrepancy, with photographs and supporting documents where possible.

Where available, signing for goods as “unchecked” is recommended if inspection cannot be completed immediately.

10. DELAYS AND EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL

We are not liable for delivery delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including customs holds, port disruption, strikes, weather events, war, sanctions, carrier issues, or government restrictions. This does not affect your statutory rights where applicable.

11. FAILED DELIVERY OR UNCOLLECTED GOODS

If goods are not accepted, collected, or customs-cleared within the required time, we may charge reasonable storage, return, demurrage, re-routing, or redelivery costs where these have been incurred.
